Elite League flooded with support
To clear up any confusion. In 2027 we will continue to provide our proven high school Elite League model, bringing together a select group of top 15–18 year-old players for outstanding competition, consistent scouting visibility, and a clear fall development schedule at New Hope Ice Arena.
We thank the current players/parents for their continued support.
The Elite League has also been flooded with support by numerous NHL players and Div 1 college players encouraging the league to stick with it's model. Each player has been grateful for the league.
"The Elite League was a massive stepping stone for my career. I was able to play high caliber hockey before the regular season while being able to stay home with my family, go to school, football games and everything else that goes along with being a high school kid. The grass is green as it gets in Minnesota High School hockey and it was such a privilege to be part of my community and a state that allows a kid to develop from home. The list of NHL and D1 players that played in the league speaks for itself and it should be preserved at all costs." Nick Bjugstad.
