Chicago Mission (Chicago, IL)

In the youth hockey world, the Mission is considered one of the premier youth hockey programs in the country and a perennial contender at the USA Hockey Tier 1 National Championships. The Mission Boys U16 team captured the Illinois State Tier 1 title in 2018.  At the 2019 NHL Draft, four Mission alumni were selected.

 

Culver Academies (Culver, IN)

Since its founding in 1976, the Culver Military Academy Hockey program has focused on developing student-athletes to maximize their full potential as players, students, and young men. The program consists of four boys teams: two that compete on a national basis against top-ranked prep schools and Tier 1 AAA clubs, and two that compete within the state of Indiana. A total of 26 NHL draftees have passed through the Culver program, and more than 200 of its players have gone on to play at the NCAA DI-III levels.

 

Michigan Developmental Hockey League (Detroit, MI)

A frequent participant in the International Invitational Tournament, the Michigan Developmental Hockey League provides high-level high school hockey players from throughout the State of Michigan with a developmental opportunity prior to the start of the high school season. The MDHL has been in existence for 16 years.


Northwood School (Lake Placid, NY)

With a long tradition of outstanding achievement players and coaches from Northwood School have gone on to renowned careers in collegiate, international and professional ice hockey. The combination of a strong academic curriculum, international recruiting and elite-level hockey has built their prep and junior teams into a powerhouse. In 2018-19 Northwood won its first-ever New York Tier 1 State Championship and finished third at the USA Hockey National Championships.


Shattuck St. Mary’s (Faribault, MN)

Since the 1990s, the Shattuck hockey program has had a considerable amount of domestic and international success, including a total of 26 USA Hockey National Championships.  A hotbed of future collegiate and professional hockey talent, its alumni include Sidney Crosby, Jonathon Toews, Zach Parise, and many others. The Shattuck Prep team has participated in the Elite League since 2003 and its 2019-20 Boy’s Prep team has six NCAA Division 1 commit on its roster.


Stanstead College (Stanstead, QUE)

Recognized as one of the finest high school programs in Eastern Canada, the Quebec-based Stanstead College is a prep school that plays a tough schedule against many of the top New England and Canadian prep programs.


Upper Midwest High School Elite League Red & White (New Hope, MN)

Both the Elite League Red and Elite League White players are selected from among the eight teams that compete during the regular season. All the players are from high school teams in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. NHL Central Scouting provides input to the Elite League’s hockey operations and coaching staff to select the two teams.
